House = aaaaggghhhhh!!!
Kindie = aaaaggghhhhh!!!
Lots of snow. No internet at home.
All is chaos right now
I am on the train from Stockholm AGAIN. Uncle Viktor was the hero of the day and looked after his nephew and niece while their mummy and daddy were working. Lyndon just called me and handed the phone over to Freja who happily shouted "Viktooor, Viktooor" to me.
Ha ha haaa! So cute.
The day before yesterday she suddenly started saying "bye, bye" (her first words in English).
Ok, there is one downside with moving from Stockholm: all the meetings are still held there which means a lot of my time will be spent on trains. In a perfect world, where the trains run when they shall and as they shall, a one way trip Malmö-Stockolm takes 4 1/2 hours. Last night it took an hour longer and tonight we are 25 minutes delayed.
We got the keys for our house this Tueday and right now it looks like a bomb went off there. A lot of things, small adn big, are being fixed at the same time and we are not the most organised project managers ever. I feel a bit sorry for the people working for us. But I know the house will look amazing once it's done and I hereby invite you all to come and visit us (if you come this spring/summer you can help us paint the window frames...!).
Again, no photos. Boring, And I just realised that I have not been taking many photos of the kids over the past months, that is not good! For example I should be filming Freja when she dances, she is so cute. She sort of wobbles from side to side like a drunk penguin. And I should take a photo of Dylan's craft project from the other week; a cmall candleholder made out of some sort of play dough painted in red and golden glitter.
It seems impossible to gather me, a computer and my camera at the same time. Right now I am on a train with my computer, but no camera. Therefor: no photos of the kids in this post.
I am working and really like my new job so far. Right now I am on my way home from a meeting in Stockholm. I will get home at 9 pm and then have to get up at 5 am tomorrow to catch the bus+train to work.
I already realize that this puzzle of work and children will not quite add up. And there is absolutely no such thing as "Lina time" in this equation. Where can I buy more hours? I think I will need approximately 2 hours/day...
Living in an apartment is so much easier and cheaper than living in a house. We have not even moved in yet and I am already overwhelmed by all the decisions and work needing to be done.
Nope. I Think I am more cut out for living in an apartment where all the maintenence is included in a fee and help is always just one phone call away.
Today we went to Lund to visit the kindie(s) where Freja and Dylan will start in December.
Freja took an instant liking to her kindie (and so did I, very nice staff). All the children are small (1-2 years old) and Freja was straight in to pointing at things, playing with the toys and taking the rocking horse for a ride. She was really upset when we were leaving and didn't want to come with us.
Dylan, on the other hand, was very, very shy. At he's kindie they spend a lot of time outdoor and in the backyard they have chickens, parrots, rabbits and sheep! Also, they go on a lot of excursions in the forest. I really liked it there, and I hope Dylan will too...
Wow. Our tiny little baby girl is one year old today! Ok, she's not so tiny any more but she is such a sweet girl. So uch fun and not shy at all. She will walk up to strangers in a restaurant and pull their clothes until she's picked up (I think she wants to get up to eat some of their food).
She face planted the walkway the other day so she's a bit bruised on her big day. But still cute.
